Gluten Free Chocolate Cake

Method

  • Using a stand mixer place all ingredients into the bowl and mix on medium speed until mixture is well blended and lightens in colour.
  • Grease and line either one deep or two shallow 6 inch / 20cm round cake tin(s). Place cake in a preheated oven - 160°C fan or 180°C conventional for 45 minutes.
  • Place a knife or skewer into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean the cake is ready. Take out of the oven and place on a cooling rack. Once cold decorate with chocolate butter icing or covering of your choice.
