Method Place the butter, sugar and syrup in the saucepan. When the butter is melted and the sugar and syrup are well blended stir in the oats. When the oats are evenly mixed in take off the heat. Grease and line a 24cm square tin. Spread the mixture evenly and place in a preheated oven of 180°C. Cook for 25 minutes or until flapjack is a golden colour. Remove from oven and leave to cool. Cut into squares to serve.
